Understanding Fused Risk

What the score means, and what it deliberately does not claim.

What goes into the score

Fused Risk composes eight inputs: threat intelligence, asset criticality, vulnerability data, identity and access posture, business-service impact, supplier and third-party risk, geography, and data freshness. No single input drives the score alone.

Why it always ships with confidence, coverage and freshness

A score without context invites false precision. Confidence reflects how much of the underlying data has been validated; coverage reflects what share of the relevant estate the score actually accounts for; freshness reflects how recently the inputs were updated. All three travel with the score everywhere it appears — there is no view of Fused Risk that shows the number alone.

Reading the driver breakdown

Each score is broken into named drivers with a severity — for example, exposed critical assets, unpatched vulnerabilities, third-party risk, regulatory gaps and identity posture. This is what makes the score explainable: you can see which driver is pulling it up, not just the final number.
