Source-controlled regulatory intelligence
Official source stays the source of truth. AI assists extraction; it never replaces human and legal review.
The Regulatory Truth Pipeline
| Step | What happens |
|---|---|
| Official source | Fetched from the regulation’s official publication. |
| Fetch → Normalize | Converted into a structured, comparable format. |
| Candidate change | Flagged as a proposed update, not yet published. |
| Version / jurisdiction | Tagged with version and jurisdiction before review. |
| Human / legal review | The mandatory gate — nothing publishes without it. |
| Publish | Goes live with source, version, jurisdiction and review date. |
| Applicability update | CYRKIL mapping (Requirement → Control → Evidence) is refreshed. |
| Affected content review | Every dependent page is checked for accuracy. |
Status is never conflated
LAW_IN_FORCE is kept structurally separate from OFFICIAL_GUIDANCE, PROPOSAL and ANALYSIS. A proposal is never displayed as law already in force — see the EU Regulatory Center for the live taxonomy.
